Fate Awaits Novel Blog Number One
Being my first attempt at blogging this might be a bit rough but hey I thought I'd give it a try...
To blog one must have something to blog about... right? Ok... for subject matter I guess I'll concentrate on my passions for writing and music. I am currently working writing a fiction based on fact novel titled, "Fate Awaits." Some might call this endevor an autobiography... in a way I guess it is. Your question... then why make it fiction? Well it's fiction based on fact. I guess it allows me to create more using facts as the baseline and then coloring the story to enhance the read...? Most of all I can write what I want not having to worry about contacting people to ask for permission to put them into my book etc. It's fiction and what I write will fall under that category... for those who know me they will know what is fact and what is fiction... to everyone else I hope they will enjoy the read... In a nutshell this novel is about my searh for my biological past. Being adopted at age 6 with a memory of another life that inspired me to search for my missing past. Everything I went through and the amazing journey along the road of life that I've had in my search. My findings, trials and tribulations, joys and disappointments. All in all I've pretty much accompolished what I set out to do, it took me 32 years of searching to find my biological mother and biological brother, these were the two people who were etched upon my memory for as long as I can remember. Like a haunting that might drive someone insane I held on knowing that someday I would unlock the mysteries to my past. Most of the more important questions, to me anyways have been answered. I've learned that with every question answered a new one would pop up and even now after all that I've found out, answers to some questions still and always will remain a mystery. I hope to have Fate Awaits finished by the end of this year... I heard somewhere the average novel is around 80,000 words? I'm about half way there...
As for anyone who would like to comment or ask me questions pertained to my thoughts on adoption, searching for biological family members, writing and music endevors etc. Please do!
